About link exchange, you need to understand what

every site owner wants to get more traffic. Traffic means sales. Traffic means attention. Traffic means success. There are many ways to increase website traffic, but the two most widely used methods are advertising and search engine optimization (SEO). This article focuses on a well-known but misunderstood aspect of SEO, which is link exchange.

Link exchange is an arrangement between two websites where each website adds a link to another website. The idea is simple: if you have a lot of links to your website, search engines (especially Google) will consider your website more valuable and will reward your website with a high ranking. If your website ranks high enough, when someone searches for your keyword, it will appear on the first page, and you will get a lot of free traffic and all the rewards.

I have an online pharmacy website and I have optimized exclusive marketing through search engines. Most search engines do not allow advertising in online pharmacies (including legitimate pharmacies like me!). Therefore, over the years, I have tried many link exchange methods.

Until 2005, I found that link exchange was very effective in improving my search engine rankings. I exchanged links freely and found myself ranked in the top 10 on Yahoo and MSN, with 4-5 keywords per website. My business is developing very fast and I am very happy. Initially, I looked for sites with link exchange pages, where I could simply add my site, and then manually add them to my site. This is effective, but labor-intensive. It seems impossible to achieve my goal: I want to provide thousands of links for every website. This will take a few hours a day within a year to achieve.

To take a shortcut, I decided to add a few different automatic link exchange sites-you know. For $10-30 per month, you can get thousands of incoming links, and your outbound link directory is automatically constructed by link exchange companies. None of these sites improved my ranking, nor did they bring significant traffic. I think these services are useless.

About a year ago, I joined a semi-automatic link exchange service. This particular service requires you to request link transactions from other sites that use the same service, or approve/reject incoming requests from other sites on the service. The real benefit is that the website will automatically build your linked pages and publish them to your website, saving about 5 minutes for each link. I have used this service quite successfully-I now have about 800 links on each of my websites, and it only takes me a few minutes a day to keep up.

Due to my link trading, my search engine rankings are gradually rising, but I am experiencing an unexpectedly bigger benefit: I get traffic (and sales) from people who click on my website to trade from my website. Currently, 80% of my traffic comes from inbound links, and only 20% comes from search engines. This is good news for me, and it is something you should strive to accomplish. Although the ranking of search engines will rise or fall with changes in search engine algorithms, the natural traffic from inbound links is not susceptible to changes. This is the most reliable mode of transportation you can get! Many search engine optimization experts believe that link exchanges have stopped building search engine rankings-one-way inbound links are the only link that can do this. This may be true, but one-way links are hard to get unless you pay. Link exchanges are easy to obtain, and they generate real traffic for you, which is not affected by the whims of search engines. Keep trading links, but find an effective way to do so, and you will continue to grow your website traffic in the coming years!
