real estate world is undergoing tremendous changes, I do not mean to change the current buyer’s market from a seller’s market turmoil caused.

Regardless of the price level, house sales are always going on. But the way people find and find their homes is undergoing a huge change. The Internet is a great equalizer and a great difference.

People who search online don’t know your achievements, and everyone is equal in the beginning. If your website does not provide the design and services that people appreciate, they will not stay long enough to discover it. This is where you can be different.

However, design and functionality are a secondary issue, how to find them in the first place. Compare the website to an online business card. The new business card is not placed on the top, but on the bottom. Customers are choosing business cards from a pile of business cards. Search engine optimization (SEO) or search engine optimization deals with efforts so that customers can find their website through popular search engines.

So you have a new website. So you basically just printed a business card, but no one knows how to find it. Or more dramatic, you don’t even know if anyone is holding your business cards, and you don’t even know if your business cards are in a pile.

I will define the search engine optimization effort by moving a website purposefully and placing it on a higher result page in response to search queries on a series of search engines.

But there are thousands of search engines. Yes. But except for three, all of these have nothing to do with optimization work. Google, Yahoo, and MSN control 98% of searches on the Internet. Focus on the three major search engines and take care of the rest.

What can be optimized? The goal is to get people to search for what you offer on your website. When people search, they do a text search by looking up a search term or phrase. In order to optimize your website, you must first understand which keywords or key phrases you want to find. Because I am in the real estate business in Aspen, Colorado, a suitable search term could be “Aspen Real Estate.”

Make sure you repeat your keywords and phrases on your homepage. Use the most important keywords as headings and type them in bold.

It is important to understand that search engines are automated computer systems programmed by humans that can evaluate website content without human interference. This means that the search results are based on so-called computer algorithms. This is basically a set of instructions on how the computer evaluates certain criteria and converts the results into a sequence of importance. The most important website comes first, the least important website last.

The art and science of search engine optimization is trying to understand what search engines are looking for on a good website, and then provide these to search engines. The google search engine algorithm may consider hundreds of different criteria. It’s so complicated that even Google’s internal engineers don’t know the whole situation. You might say, how come Google employees don’t know what to do?

Basically, the most important basic elements of a good website are well known. For example, Google uses a patented mathematical concept that they call “page ranking” in the root directory of its system. The link is considered a vote. The more links to a website, the more important the website is. The more important a website is, the more weight it has to vote for another website.

So, try to get people to link to your website. It is important to know that links from the same subject as your site seem to be more important than links from sites that do not fit the subject. Links from other real estate related websites are more important to my website than to promote toys from the website.

Search engines like content-rich websites. The more pages with useful content, the better. Blogs are a great way to accumulate a lot of topic content over a period of time. This is more important for search engines, such as websites, which regularly have fresh content.

org is a manual website directory. Read their instructions carefully and submit your website to a relevant category. Yahoo and Google use this directory, and it helps to be listed.

Generate an xml file on the server and place it on the web site. A site map is basically a long list of all web pages in a format that can be read by computer programs used by search engines to browse the web. These programs are called “robots” or “spiders”. This will help search engines find all the pages on your website. Remember, the more pages a search engine knows, the better.

Some content cannot be read by search engines. Graphical content is such a thing. If your website is mainly composed of images, search engines will not know what your website is about and therefore will not provide search results. Make sure your website is rich in text.

Real estate websites can serve web pages for different subdivisions. Write a blog about property this week. Include the “Frequently Asked Questions” section. Write yourself and give someone your resume. Explain the buying and selling process. Provide sales statistics. The list goes on.

Get a program similar to “advanced web ranking”, the search engine contains the search results of your keywords. Optimization is fun when you start to see results. But manually finding your website in search results is a labor-intensive job, and it is a good job for automated programs. Read online forums and some books on search engine optimization, once you pass the basics. This field is constantly evolving, and we still have a lot to learn.
